how much do you usually spend on a favor per kid for a birthday party?

This and sometimes closer to $5 bc DH doesn't think and wants to fill the bag with crap 
I've done more depending on the amount of kids. For DS's 2nd birthday there weren't a ton of kids so instead of a goody bag I got the kids each their own hooded towel from BBB. It was a pool party

It depends but generally around 5 to 8 per child!
