HSG question

Hi ladies I had posted this same question on the TTC board but figured I'd ask here too. Yesterday afternoon I had an HSG done and the procedure went great but then last night while at work I began having the worst cramps in my lower back, so bad that I had to leave work. I don't know if it was because I was on my feet so much (I work as a nurse). Anyway I came home took a Motrin and felt so much better this morning but now that the medicine is wearing off I feel the lower back pain again but it's nothing like it was last night. I would just like to hear from you ladies if you ever experienced anything like this or similar after your HSG's thank you!

I remember having some pain afterwards, and I ended up going home right after procedure and laying down the whole day. I think that helped me out, but did end up having spotting for a few days after.

I had cramping that lasted for about a half hour immediately following the procedure but nothing residual after that.

Feel better! If it continues, I'd give a call to your dr.

I also had slight cramping after the procedure but nothing hours later or the next day. Def call your Dr if you notice anything getting worse or if you start running a temp!

I would call my RE. I had no cramping or spotting though.

Hi ladies thanks for all your responses I just wanted to update and say that I woke up feeling 100x better this morning. So happy abt this because I was getting nervous that maybe something had went wrong. But I guess everyone's body responds differently to these kinds of tests.
