BF and colds
DD has her first cold now at 4 months. However, I think I got something too. Can your supply be affected if you get sick? I noticed last night when I pumped before bed that I only got 1 oz when I usually get 2 1/2. Then today during work I only pumped 8 oz when I usually pump about 11-12. The only thing that changed is that I woke up with a sore throat this morning and don't feel that well. I'm hoping that's all it is. Dd has been nursing as usual.

I don't bf, but I'm thinking you're probably slightly dehydrated from the cold that's brewing. Try drinking more fluids, it might help

Yes. If you're sick it will affect your supply.

I agree with PPs. Drink plenty of fluids/broths etc. On the plus side, your LO will get your antibodies for the cold through your BM, so it should help her get better quickly. I also nursed my DD extra when we got sick. She's 2 now and has never needed an antibiotic yet.
