where to go for 2 night vacation?

We want to go away Oct.17th - 19th.
DD is 2 & she's easily entertained so we don't have to go somewhere with a ton of kid stuff but we thought it might be nice to go pumpkin picking or see some animals one of the days.
We were thinking of CT or a nice little town upstate, DH's request is a decent hotel with a TV
I would love a little bed & breakfasts but god forbid they don't have 10,00000 channels. So anything like that is out but we're open to anything within 4 hours away.
