S/O to little one still in daycare once #2 comes along

From the thread most will keep their schedules the same. Is there anyone who simply can't afford that option. I'm already worried how I will deal with a 5yr and a newborn alone from the time they wake til bed time. Is this even realistic? Getting super worried but know that daycare isn't an option since I wont be working.

I've thought about this too but for a various reasons i want to keep schedule, in general we really will struggle when I'm on maternity leaves and I think for the first time ever we may charge and be late with full payments going into a small debt...not exactly the best advice....

When #2 comes, ds will still be in school for a month, but after, he will be home for the summer. DH has a crazy schedule and my parents go away for the summer, so I am kinda nervous about the summer....but ...it is what it is! I may sign ds up for a cheap summer program at the school district though, so I can have him do something!
