Starting Solids and Formula Question
We are just starting oatmeal. Ped said formula/BM intake will probably go down, but to keep it around 24 ounces a day.
Do you think this 24 ounces includes the formula/BM we mix in with the oatmeal or 24 ounces plus what we mix in?
I am going to call the ped on Monday, but wanted some other opinions.

I believe that's separate. He means drinking bottles.

My ped said to count it. They said btw 20-30 oz of formula

DD intake didn't go down right away. I didn't include it in measuring her intake.

It took awhile after DS started solids for his formula intake to go down.
I personally don't think it matters if you count the formula in the oatmeal (we never did) because it's so little. I wouldn't get too hung up on an ounce or 2 here and there. How much is your baby drinking now?

Yes it includes the amount you mix.

DS is drinking around 30 ounces a day, but I am BF/supplementing and still trying to increase my supply.
