Jewish moms - anyone BFing and fasting?
Do you think the fast will impact my milk supply? No way I can not drink water - I get SO thirsty when I nurse, and I need to take my vitamins.

It is AGAINST Jewish law to fast if you "cant". If you are sick, if you need to take medication etc you are bound to do so. Its a sin to fast if you physically cant, its a sin to skip medicine. If you NEED to drink or eat because you BF then you MUST eat or drink.

Do not fast while nursing! No way your rabbi would tell you to.

Yeah. Rabbis say children, elderly and nursing woman shouldn't fast. I will be fasting but I'm down to 1 nursing session per day. Last year when she was only 1.5 month old, I ate all day like crazy just because I needed the calories.

According to Jewish law, a woman whom is breast feeding 100% should not fast.
