Mommies of 2 or more.. If dc1 was preterm...
Was your other pregnancies preterm? My DD was born at 35 weeks when my water broke and am currently 8 weeks pregnant so was curious

My DD was born just shy of 33 weeks. They called it a "spontaneous preterm labor/birth". Basically, they don't know why she came early. I was monitored more closely during my 2nd pregnancy and while DS was still early, he was born further along at 35 weeks. He didn't even have to go to the NICU thank goodness.

eta: The below post reminded me.. I was also given 17P (progesterone) injections from 16 weeks until I delivered with my 2nd and had sonograms to check my cervix every few weeks.

Had DS at 36 weeks 2 days. No indication I would go so early. Water broke in the middle of the night.
With DD I took P17 shots to strengthen the uterus so I wouldn't go early again. DD was 5 days late!

Thanks that was helpful! I hope I don't go late haha.. But better than early like last time! Maye they will give me shots too I'll find out next week!

My first DS was born at 36 weeks on the dot, my water broke and i had him later that day
My second DS i had to induced 2 days before my due datem i was having contractions for weeks was 6cm dilated and he just didnt want to come out

My oldest was 7 weeks early due to placenta abruption. My youngest was a sch c/s but came a few days early, but was full term
I was monitored closely and had progesterone shots every week from 20 weeks to 35. She was perfectly healthy

Ds was 7 weeks early due to placental abruption.
When pregnant with dd I Had Makena shots from 16-36 weeks. Also had a few extra sonograms to watch my cervix and placental development/bloodflow. DD was born exactly on time!
