SPR: Christening gift from Godmother when child already has an outfit
I'm my nephew's Godmother. I would normally buy him the outfit, but he will be wearing his brother's outfit. Any ideas on what I can get him that is special? I think the Godfather traditionally buys some kind of jewelry, right? So I'm not sure what to give him (other than money).

Our Godmother bought DS a beautiful blanket since he already had an outfit.
What about a nice version of the children's bible? with something sweet written inside from you?

crashing
I suggested cross, but godfather wanted to get it for her. I suggested earrings, but parents did not want ears pierced.
I found some bibles, a baby one and an older child one. I found some beautiful gifts on things remembered. I saw other babies with personalized blankets and bibs at the christening.
