Tell me about Saf-T-Swim
I just called about this class. They have a sale going on now. It's $90 plus $15 for insurance. There are 6 classes in one session. Those are the only questions that I asked though.

Re: Tell me about Saf-T-Swim
In my experience just be aware of how aware your instructor will be with your child. I've gone through a few before I found one that would actually instruct not keep looking around and talking to their fellow workers. I think it's expensive and you have to really be happy with the instructor you get.

Re: Tell me about Saf-T-Swim
Classes are 1/2 hour once a week, and only 1 parent in the pool. Price varies based on sales. Sessions are 6 weeks

Re: Tell me about Saf-T-Swim
We took dd last fall when she was 5 months old. I was in the water and once or twice my husband came and watched from the side of the pool. Our instructor was great but there's only so much to learn at that age. I believe it was a six week session and we only paid $75 because there was a promotion and it was also our first time. When you call, ask if there are any promotions coming up before you register. The woman who I spoke with told me to call back in a week for a better price (loved that). We went to the East Meadow location.

This pretty much exactly except we went to Bellmore location. My son was 8 months when we started but they can start as early as 6 months. They also have a part 2 class called "Down Under" that continues the work from first 6 sessions of Baby and Me. It works specifically on submersions. I'm actually disappointed that I can't do it with my LO bc of my return to work. We loved it. LO is now signed up for 1-1 lessons.
