Re: pizza

around 10 months bc I remember him having it at his older brother's birthday. He wasn't 1 yet. Maybe it was 11 months, but I know it was early.

My first DS is a very picky eater so at 4 he's still never had it. LOL

Def under 1 year... Maybe 10 months... I don't remember... I did take the cheese off first though for fear of choking. Now she has bigger pieces with cheese and does fine (15m)

So my DD is currently 12 months. She does pretty good with all sorts of other foods. I have a fear of choking, and a fear of giving her "unhealthy" food which is why I never offered her pizza before. but i love pizza and am dying to give her pizza at the pizza place!!! I want to take her out to celebrate something a little after she turns 13 months -- do u think she can handle the whole thing or do i remove the cheese? how do u cut it up? strips or squares or what?

I really don't look at pizza as unhealthy at all.
McD's yeah.
Pizza- no- it's sauce and cheese and bread.
I would cut it into tiny tiny squares- with the cheese still on it. Tiny bite sized.

I would definitely pack yourself a pair of kitchen scissors. Just ask them not to make it too hot and then cute it into little squares. I never took the cheese off. If your LO can handle something like an open faced grilled cheese than she should be fine.

I started giving DS2 small pieces. He's always been a great eater and chewer. By 13 months he was better at taking bites, but I held the pizza. Just easier to cut it up rather than hold the pizza.

DS got his first two teeth at 10 and a half months and was slow to get the rest so we gave everything to him pretty late. I didn't give him pizza until he was like 22 months.

I think under a year. I cut it into small squares with the cheese on. She likes to hold the end and take bites out of it.
