fussy at night- teething.. almost 4 month old

DS has been sleeping through the night for a while. only problem is around the last week or 2 in the early morning I hear him fussing and he is gnawing on his palm. I try putting in a binky and he gets mad. He is not waking up to eat. Ive been picking him up and then putting him in the swing and he goes back to sleep.

Not sure what to do, I feel bad for him he is teething so bad. I guess I could give him advil but it doesnt seem to bother him til around 2 am and if he goes in swing he settles down.

dd was an early teether, but we couldn't give advil bc the ped said not until 6 months, we used orajel naturals teething gel.
