Potty Training ?'s

DD has woken up dry the last 6 mornings and used the potty. We've made a sticker chart and she loves getting stickers. yesterday she woke up dry from her nap too and used the potty.

The thing is I am not sure how to get her to use the potty during the day. Suggestions?

Also, do you think if she is still waking up dry next week that I could try underwear vs. diapers at night? Is 2 weeks a good amount of time?

She is 2 1/4 years old ( 27 months)

For night time - it depends on the kid - DS wakes up dry 99% of the time (he's 3 1/2) but, my friend's 4 year old wakes up wet or has to go to the potty 2x during the night.

During the day - I would take DS every 2 hrs or so for the first couple of days until he could tell us when he had to go.

That is great so far!

Does dd wear a diaper during day? If so that has to come off. Allow a few accidents so she can feel the wet- she wont like it. She should pick up on going during the day pretty quick after that. Reminde her to 'tell mommy when you have to potty every half hour or so the first few days'

Night time- we did pull ups (night night panties) for a few months until DD got the hang of waking up in the middle of the night to pee.

i would stay away from the diaper word and remind her that she is a big girl now and diapers are for babies.
