I'm sick of.....

With more recent venting posts, I think we need a thread of things we are sick of hearing bc we all know it helps to scream it out!!......

I'm sick of people saying "it'll happen when it's meant to/the time is right."

I'm sick of.....

I'm sick of people asking- So when are you having kids? I want to say I have no idea, why don't you ask my uncooperative body.

Oh and yesterday I bought a ton of baby things at TJ Max for a baby shower and birthday. The cashier says "is this for a gift or are you expecting?" Seriously lady?

I'm sick of.....

I'm pretty effing sick of.....

1) when a friend who has publicly vented on FB their financial issues, how their house is being foreclosed on, their DH quit his job because he has a temper- BUT THEY'RE TTC- and it worked the 1st month

2) FB pregnancy announcements- I mean I'm happy for them, but also very bitter because its not me

3) friends and family who give you tips on ttc- "why don't ya try laying down with your legs up afterwards", "you HAVE to every other day for the whole month if you wanna get pregnant"- Ok THANKS for telling me these GENIUS ideas- bc I just spent $3,000 on fertility treatments for the hell of it...

4) finding out a former friend is pregnant with baby #5 with baby daddy #3



Eta: I'm sooooo not such a negative nancy in real life- just been having a pretty cr@ppy couple of weeks and DH is sick of hearing me complain

But honestly my favorite is the if it's meant to be thing. At fist I would just smile and say yea I guess so. Now I want to tell them to go F%ck themselves. After 2 years of this and an ectopic loss (which btw I was told by someone "close" to me - I didn't think mothers day would be so hard for you. You weren't realllly pregnant.. YUP that happened) you get real bitter and want to speak your mind. No more smile and spare THEIR feelings.

My biggest pet peeve of the moment...

I know people mean well but telling me I'm young does not help! I have PCOS and could only conceive through IVF and then lost my twins due to an incompetent cervix - these are 2 issues I will always have no matter what my age is!

But here's some more I hate:

'EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON.'

Oh yea? Please explain the reason why I delivered to perfectly healthy little boys at 21 weeks instead of going full term. If you can find a reason for that I would LOVE to hear it!

'I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL - I HAD A MISCARRIAGE TOO.'

I know miscarriages are devastating and it breaks my heart to hear about anyone who has had one, however, I didn't have a miscarriage.

'WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER.'

Well I don't want to be strong. I want to be a mom.

I'm not saying I am a fan of wallowing in self pity, BUT it definitely feels good to get it out!!!

This is mainly why I don't tell people in real life what is going on, because they say the DUMBEST ****.

Kinda hard to stop thinking about it with all my fertility appointments lined up and the fact that we need scientific intervention to conceive.

I also hate the "you're still young" one. Oh so just because I'm young means that my husband and I can't start a family now?

Ummmm yeah, we've been together 10.5 years, married 3 years. I'd say we've had time to enjoy each other and even when we DO have kids, I'd like to think we'll continue to enjoy each other.

Ok I'm done, that felt good! lol

Oh wait, one more - I was in Rite Aid today and a mother was in there yelling and cursing at her kid "Put that down, we're not getting that shit" Really???? Why have kids if that's how you're going to talk to them.
