10 month old eating schedule and amount

DS just started eating actual solids and he will finally eat some yogurt, banana and carrots. I find myself feeding him 3 hours after he last nursed and then nursing him shortly after. What is your schedule? Should I be nursing him then feeding him solids an hour and a half later and then nursing him an hour and a half after that? Or should I be nursing him and then feeding him solids three hours later and then nursing him again three hours after that?
Also, what is your 10 month old eating and how much?

Re: 10 month old eating schedule and amount

we havent quite figured it out yet, at 8.5 months but this is the official schedule

7am nurse
845 solids (eggs and fruit or veggies)
9nurse before nap
11- bottle or nurse (if Im not at work)
12 lunch- fruit or veggies
1-nap
3- bottle or nurse
5-oatmeal and fruit
6-bottle or nurse
7 nurse before bed

if im home with the on the weekend, i nurse before their solids again, just because i want to make sure they are getting enough during the day. the general idea is to nurse, than offer solids. i feel like my kids eat frequently, i dont think that's ever going to change!!

Re: 10 month old eating schedule and amount

i'm jealous of your schedules. dd is 9.5 months and we are a mess over here lolol

we can have 2 different types of days:

-version #1
somewhere between 5-6am: wake, take 8-9oz bottle, back to sleep
7:45-8:30 ish - wake for the day
8:30/9am: breakfast 2 tablespoons of cereal mixed with about 1oz of formula; and 1/2-3/4 of a jar of fruit
10:15am bottle (4-6oz)
12:30 lunch - 3 cubes of veggie puree
1:30 nap
2:30 bottle (4-8oz)
5:15 dinner - 4 cubes of veggie puree
6:15 bottle (9oz)
bed 6:45

-version #2
6:15-7am wake up - 8oz bottle
9am breakfast (same as above)
10:30/11am nap
12pm lunch 3 cubes of veggie puree followed by bottle (6ish oz prob)
3pm bottle (prob only 4oz)
3:30/4pm nap
5:15 dinner
6:30 bottle
bed 7pm

I don't follow a strict schedule with my 10 month old. She seems to eat a lot though. I always nurse her when she wakes up in the morning, a few times during the day, and before bed. She also has a stage two fruit for breakfast, shares yogurt and either hummus or avocado with me as a late morning snack, has a stage 2 veggie for lunch, and then usually another afternoon snack, and another stage 2 veggie and about a quarter cup of oatmeal for dinner. Plus she snacks of puffs and sips water throughout the day. And anytime I'm eating something I can break up small and share with her, like bread, chicken, etc, she has some of that too.
