DS is 2 and change. He has learned of that dreaded word. Mine. That's MINE. Don't touch, it's MINE. We are working on sharing but if you look at his socks, he will tell you that they're his. Does this end soon?

Re: The Mine stage
Let me know when it does for you bc my DD is 27 months and does the same thing. Sharing is awful, we try so hard to teach her but its in one ear and right out the other!

Omg this made me crack up! DD is 20 months old and is the same way. If she doesn't want to share and starts with the "mine" business, I try to say, "oh look, you made (insert childs name ) so sad because you don't want to share, do you think that you can let her have it for a little while". And that seems to be working-- but as for how to get her to stop saying "mine' ya good luck!

The Mine stage
Every time DS said MINE I said SHARE. it was almost like when you hear someone sneeze and say bless you!
I just showed him how to share. Id play w his toys and when he'd come over, I'd say share and start playing. They get it eventually
