If you had one day at disney, how would you spend it?

We are going to Orlando for a long weekend in September and have one parkhopper ticket left. We plan to spend one day at the Disney Parks. We plan to do SeaWorld and LEGOLAND on the other days.

How would you spend your day at the parks?
Would you go back to the hotel to rest?

The first time we went to Disney, we stayed off property at Sheraton Vistana and we never went back in the afternoons. We did one park per morning and then swam at our hotel pool every afternoon. The second time we went, we stayed at Polynesian in December and took advantage of the monorail. It wasn't really pool weather so we did not swim. We usually did 2 parks per day. we took advantage of the monorail and would eat at epcot and then come back to our hotel. This time we will be staying at either arts of animation, animal lodge or the nick resort. We won't have the convenience of the monorail and we plan to spend a lot of our time at non-Disney places.

If you had one day at disney, how would you spend it?

If you have one day, I would spend the entire day at the MK. Get there at rope drop and do as much as you can! I personally wouldn't park hop with just one day to be honest.

P.S. The Nick resort is a dump from what I hear, so you might want to reconsider that. The amenities look fun, but the rooms are in dire need of refurbishing everyone says.

I would get to the MK at rope drop. Then hit as much as I could early on. I would do a relaxing sit down. Then tour some more. If I needed down time I would let the kids run at caseys water play area, take the riverboat, stake out a sport for the parade and enjoy a snack. Have a relaxing dinner and if they are still awake see the night parade and fireworks.

Not my ideal time but if I only had one day I would make the most out of it. I say the MK bc to me that is the main park and will always be our favorite.

No time for resting at hotels on a one day visit. Plop down during a parade and take your rests then. MK is awesome, my second fave is Hollywood Studios. There's a fun Disney Jr show.
