Ugh, it happened! No Money!!!
My maternity pay has ran out! My 26 weeks of being paid is up...no money has gone into my account today. Its so depressing!!! Now I have to dip into my meagre savings!!!
I am a pauper!!! Send cash now!!!

Yeah 26 weeks, great yeah, but now I have to spend the next 30 or so weeks of my maternity leave with very little money...unless I cash in on my 5 weeks holiday...
Such a bleak picture....

Be happy you got some pay...I get no Maternity pay at all. I have to borrow 28 sick days from the sick bank and pay them all back!

I do know how lucky I am, I am just being melodramatic. Besides, I have a wealthy husband, Lord Beerbelly...he will support me in the manner to which I would like to be accustomed to!

Let me clarify what I get for maternity...I didn't get full pay for 26 weeks. I got 6 weeks at 90% , then another 20 weeks at statuatory maternity pay, which is £107 a week (thats like just about $200) and we can accrue our holiday and bank holidays, so at the end of my time off I can have another 5 weeks off or the cash...also, we are entitled to a year off, your company has to hold your job or a comperable job for you. And you are also entitled to free Dental Care on the NHS (if you can find an NHS dentist)
So thats that.

Yea -- I can just move in with Jean & Beryl -- my daughter's Great Aunts in the old family house in Liverpool!!!!!!
Right around the block from the football stadium!!!!!
They raised 11 kids there back in the day -- so sure enough there would be enough room for us!
And I could have all the thornton's I want...
And we'd be practically "neighbors!"

Hey I live right around the corner from Old Trafford Football Stadium (and the Cricket Stadium too) and they live right near Anfield! Thats awesome (but horrible really)
Did they raise 11 kids in a 3 bedroom house? Our next door neighbours have 4 kids in a 3 bedroom house, Lord Beerbelly is going to have to buy me a bigger house soon!!!

I don't know how many bedrooms there are but I do know that there are 4 floors. I should find out the address -- it's right next to a pub. We google earth'd it once so I could see it and my FIL has paintings in the living room of the house with the pub ... I guess it was a painting of the pub and the house was just there....
All I know is that there are 4 floors, there used to be no bathroom, one fireplace in the kitchen and growing up they used to all sleep together in one bed (all the kids) with thier jackets over them to keep them warm in the winter...
They lived in Liverpool during the bombings and stuff .... so it was a necessity...
I think it is soo cool that the family still lives in the house!
