Help me select and find a backsplash for my kitchen
I am 26 year old male who bought my first place. I need help finding a backsplash and paint that would match my kitchen. I am not good at this stuff so as much detail as possible would help. Even examples!
The picture includes close up of floor and counters. I would like to paint the one wall so anything a paint that would match would be awesome. Also a close up of the rug that I have in my house is shown as well.
Thanks everyone Image Attachment(s):

Hey good luck with the house! this stuff can be so overwhelming Your best bet would prob be to take pics of your kitchen and head to a home depot or a tile store
Some places might give you a sample to take home so you can hold it next to your cabinets
Looks like you've got neutral colors so it shouldn't be a bad experience

Re: Help me select and find a backsplash for my kitchen
So I have almost identical cabinets and I think the same counters. I put a similar post on here and ended up getting option #2 from Lowes.
Hope this helps...

Re: Help me select and find a backsplash for my kitchen
I would go with a light colored subway tile and paint in a light beige. Like bar harbor beige.
Definately something light and not busy. Here is mine. All bought at Home depot.

Lucky09 do you have a picture of your finished kitchen?
Thanks for the help everyone. It is overwhelming deciding this stuff. I love doing the work though. I had an unfinished basement that I finished. It is relaxing for me after a hard and stressful day at the office to come home and work on my place. The hard stuff for me is bringing everything together and making it match. I just don't have that sense of design.

Stop by Fiorano Tile Gallery in Williston Park (Hillside Ave) and bring your photos. They will take care of everything and help you with your selections including all the details. They are amazing.

Re: Help me select and find a backsplash for my kitchen
I know this is older but since it was bumped by someone else, I will recommend Artsaics in Deer Park. Nelson is the owner, his stuff is absolutely incredible. We are redoing our master bath and got all our tile from him. I have never seen anything like it & the prices are in line with any other custom tile.
The catalog is online, but he can make you anything you can think of. He completely imagined a pattern for us & made it happen, he's so talented. http://www.artsaics.com/
ETA: more tile pics in my album too
