Uppa Baby Vista Stroller

Figured I'd ask on here (instead of Pregnancy) since there are experienced moms & dads :)

Does anyone have one that they can share their review with me? We're in the process of registering for our baby that's due in Dec and the salesperson at BuyBuyBaby seemed to really push this stroller...

I use the bassinet everyday to walk my four month old around town. It really is the smoothest ride. You get what you pay for.

Love mine! Smooth ride, easy handling, big basket, love the bassinet (I use it for walks and for the beach).

The only thing that's a pain is folding it,, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy.

Re: Uppa Baby Vista Stroller

I had a 2012. Dd is 11mos and I just sold it when she was 9mos and bought a city mini gt which IMO is soooo much better.

The vista it seems everyone loves and my best friend had it first and was like you need this. I loved the bassinet. However dd never ever once slept in it. I used the base w her infant car seat and that was find although it was heavy and bulky and kind of hard to get in and out of my jeep. I constantly felt I was destroying it and scratching it up by putting it in and out.

At 7.5mos when I got rid of the infant car seat and started using the regular stroller I realized just what a pita this thig was. Honestly if I lived in nyc and didn't have a car it would be great! My mom to this day can still not close it and she has an Infiniti car and it barely fit in her trunk.

I really love the city mini gt and apparently I could have snapped my infant car seat on that too. And my best friend w the vista...her son slept in the bassinet and once he was big enough for the stroll she got a regular city mini bc the stroller was too heavy for her too.

I felt for me it didn't make sense. However it was a nice well made looking stroller. The basket is definitely awesome. ESP now w the city mini I completely see the difference.

I love it! It's so nice to push, the height of the bar is perfect for my tall self, the basket is awesome and my DD is so comfortable in it. The seat is so well padded and is really made very well. I compared it to the City models (the Mini and the Select) and you can definitely see the difference in quality. I also love the sun canopy and the zip on mosquito net, as well as the silent peek-through window. We go on lots of walks, sometimes over rough cement and I appreciate that my daughter isn't getting so rattled around--the ride is really so smooth.

The fold isn't as simple as some other strollers, but it's really not bad either. You just have to get the hang of it. It is also pretty heavy, so for someone not that strong it might be an issue, but it's not for me. I have no problem taking it in and out of my SUV.

I LOVE this stroller!

I love the stroller and would recommend it. However, I have some gripes too.

1. You could really benefit from an engineering degree to learn how to fold the thing.
2. It's heavy.
3. The accessories, especially the cup holders. They are not attached and it drives me nuts. They need to be purchased separately. I don't know what the current rate is but mine were like $24.99 each which is ridiculous but of course I have them. You have to manually put them on. Inevitably, when I Actually need the Friggan things, they are nowhere to be found. They are in DHs car or my car or in th house or anywhere but wih the stroller. If you leave them in the basket (which is fab for shopping) they fall out. It's infuriating. Same goes for th bug net and the rain cover.

But try pushing another stroller after pushing that one. You realize you get what you pay for.

Have it and love it. We had DD nap in the bassinet for the first few months (with the stand), and then when she was too big, we bought the laundry insert to make the stand a laundry basket.

Like other's have said, it's a super smooth ride and the undercarriage basket is huge. I also like how the infant seat can stay on when it's folded.

The one downside is the base is heavy. Not a big problem for me, because we live in Manhattan and don't have a car. But, if I was constantly having to fold it up and put it in a trunk, I might have considered a different option.

I also have the Uppa Baby G-Luxe, so I'm a big fan of the brand.
