Looking for ideas to decorate 2 story great room wall

I just don't know what to hang or how to arrange it something.

I'm so tired of the huge blank wall.

We have a huge mirror in the foyer, & tons of family photos already on shelves & up the stairs.

So looking for artwork ideas/layouts.

Our colors are various earth tons (olive, red, golds, browns, grey/blue)

I have a two story great room and I hate it. I have all this blank wall space and the room is just not cozy. I dont plan to add anything to the higher parts of the wall. I just hung a large chandelier, plan to hang some curtains at about 108 inches, and added some tall lanterns to the top of our media cabinet.

Exactly....so not cozy!

The funny part, the windows are standard size, because the ceiling angles down towards the fireplace/flatscreen tv, & the window & backdoor are on either side of it.

Our bedroom doorway breaks up the large wall, the staircase is opposite the doorway (separating the greatroom & foyer)

I'm at a complete loss. We thought the 2 story was so nice until we actually started decorating

How about a tapestry or a gallery wall with art.

You could also do a big iron piece. You'd probably have to have someone come in and hang it, but if you look at some of those Graden centers they may have a beautiful gate or trellis you could hang
