Re: Which formula?
Nutramigen because DS has a milk protein allergy.
DD was on Similac and we switched her to Similac Sensitive and it worked great for her.
With my other DS we started him on Similac, then similac sensitive and neither worked well. Finally we put him on Gentlease and he was a different baby.

Which formula?
Nutramigen - because of digestive issues
However, she was on Enfamil newborn - it has all the added vitamins.

Which formula?
enfamil gentlease. DD had very bad gas in the begininng. I don't know if it even helped, but figured it didn't hurt. We only give her 2 bottles of formula at night. We tried the similac, but I didn't like how it dissolved and it seemed to leave more clumps.

Re: Which formula?
With DS we used Similac and had no problems. With DS2 I'm planning to use Similac at first (the nursettes) and then switch to Target brand to save money. Hopefully it works for him!

Re: Which formula?
We kept DD on the Enfamil nursettes at first because that's what the hospital used.
Then we switched to Enfamil gentlease to help with gas issues... we even put gas drops in the formula.
Now we are using the target brand of Enfamil with no issues.
Next time around I'd go right to the gentle target brand.
My ped had no preference of brand... seriously they gave me no guidance at all so I figured if it's not broke don't fix it and kept her on Enfamil.

Re: Which formula?
We started off using Enfamil Newborn. We were giving her gas drops for about a month with it. Then when she turned 3 months we switched her to Enfamil Infant. We no longer use the gas drops and don't have any problems with the formula. We switch from powder to liquid, depending upon if were out or not. I find the liquid is easy when were away or out and DD needs a bottle.

Re: Which formula?
Target brand. Because it was the same exact thing at half the price. Plus they had so many versions... AR, Gentlease, etc...

Re: Which formula?
enfamil products only
Has the right amount of DHA unlike similac (the recommendations is .2% and similac only has .15 - enfamil has .3)
no table sugar - second ingredient on most similac ingredients
and more like breastmilk than any brand in with their whey and caesin ratio

Which formula?
We use Similac advance because that's what the hospital started her on. For a couple of months we switched to similac for spit up because her acid reflux but now that she grew out of that, we're back to similac advance.

exactly..also it does not need to be from Target, can be CVS, Walgreens, BJ's etc. all generic formula is made by the same company called store brand formula http://www.storebrandformula.com/
