what to travel with?
we are flying to florida with 5.5 month old DD and i have no idea which stroller/car seat to pack
here is what we have - which would you bring? chicco keyfit 30 with base snap n go city mini city mini adapter for keyfit 30 britax car seat
dd and i both prefer the city mini to the snap n go so it seems the obvious choice is to take that with the britax. but dd sleeps really well in the keyfit 30 so when we are driving around and get somewhere it would be easier to keep her in the keyfit 30 so im torn on bringing the city mini with adapter and the keyfit 30
also - those who travel with their car seat, do you gate check it? or check it with luggage? do you put it in a bag or leave it loose?

I would bring the infant seat and the City Mini if DD prefers it (but, if you are planning on just using it with the adapter - I would go with the Snap N Go since it's easier than bringing the stroller and adapter.
For the Key Fit, you can install it into a car without the base.
We always gate checked the infant seat in a red gate check bag - like a laundry bag - so it didn't get dirty.

Re: what to travel with?
It's MUCH easier to travel with the chicco & snap n go that the britax & citimini.
I've done both.

Yes - it's easy to do with the belt. I don't have a Chicco but, my friend did and used it without a base all the time.
Hopefully the manual is a little more user friendly than the Graco one.
