How long did you use it and was it then hard to transfer to a crib? As of right now, my 3 week old sleeps great in there. I am concerned though about having to switch her to a crib (or my case pack and play for now) and laying flat when she is getting used to sleeping on an incline. Thanks!

DD is 4.5 months & we finally folded up the RNP as of last week. It was a hard transition for all of us!

I transitioned dd at 4 months and ds at 5 months. It was an easy transition both times. For the first week, I placed the mattress on a slight incline. Ds is still in my room in the portacrib @ 6 months

I transitioned at 6 months no issues.
I wouldnt transition that young because they may need the incline due to reflux.
Nothing towards you at all but I never understand why everyone gets caught up in omg my baby finally sleeps but in the rock n play. Be happy your baby is seeping! Lol i wouldnt worry just embrace the sleep! Youll have plenty of restless nights to come dont create any lol

When i transitioned i used the crib wedge in the pack n play for a week then put her flat in crib. She had outgrown her reflux and loved being flat and most of al loved having so much space in her crib.

Re: Those that use the rock and play

I think we kept her in it until 4 or 5 months. Basically when she was sitting up so much it was no longer safe. Transitioned to the crib fairly well and once she was rolling she slept on her tummy and was happy.

There's always going to be periods when the baby doesn't STTN well. I think it's best to deal with it when it comes. The baby is sleeping well and the RNP is approved for sleep so I was happy I was finally sleeping!

DS slept in it at night for about 2 months and easily transitioned into the crib, surprisingly! we still use it during the day though for naps, etc.

I am transitioning my DD now. She just turned 6 months. So far so good except when she wakes up looking for her pacifier.

4 months. he started flipping over in it. He cried for a few nights when we switched him over but we did CIO then and he started sleeping for longer stretches.

we transitioned to the crib at the pack and play at 8 weeks and to the crib at 10 weeks. At 10 week, when he woke at like 4/5am and would not settle down in the crib, we would break down and put him in it. That only happened 2-3 times a week. At about 4 months we stopped that completely. it is now folded up and done with.

We transitioned my LO at 12 weeks into a pack n play type crib (arms reach co-sleeper, but not as a co-sleeper) and she had no issues whatsoever.
