Formula covered by insurance?
My DS is on nutramigen and it is covered by my insurance......my question is where do I drop the prescription off? Can I just go to CVS and they'll have a 30 day supply or do I have to go somewhere more specific? I spoke to Medco this morning and they said I have to go through a retail pharmacy.

Re: Formula covered by insurance?
I used Medco/Express Scripts (I think) mail in...I paid a lesser copay because they discount as compared to filling it every 30 days at the pharmacy and I received 90 days at a time delivered to my house. So easy!

Formula covered by insurance?
When my son was on it. I went to Walgreens. I dropped the script off to them and once a month I'd pick up a 30 day supply.

You're DOE right? The welfare fund has to approve it first. Then, you go Through a retail pharmacy. I just went to CVS. Its a $35.00 copay. Medco does not handle formula for those on the UFT Rx for whatever reason. I had no problems. DS was on nutragimen too. Fm if you have questions.

They did approve it. It took a few phone calls but I got the approval letter yesterday. I am so relieved that they are covering it!
