Dutch Wonderland

We are thinking of taking a last minute trip there this weekend.

We want to leave early Saturday morning (6:30-7), check into hotel and spend some time in the pool since it will be so hot.

Around maybe 430-5 head over to the park until it closes.

DS will be 3 in Sept, from the looks of the rides they have it doesn;t look like he will be able to ride on a lot of them.

Or am I misjudging?

For those that have gone, is there a lot to see and do for a younger child or can we do most of it in from 4:30 until closing 8:30??

We took our DS there when you turned 2 and he went on 90%of rides all by himself. He was 36 inches then. When we went again at 3 we went on every single ride. You can go on many rides with your DC if he doesn't want to go alone! The park is for 2-6 year olds IMO.
There is a water park too, so bring a towels and swimsuits!

You guys should have blast there! We love this place!

How tall is your DS? If he's 36 inches - he should be able to go on most rides - either alone or with a parent.

We were able to take DS 2 on a bunch of rides at 15 months too (including the log flume).

We just took DS, who is only 33 inches, and he was able to ride a ton of stuff. You'll probably be able to get a lot done in the evening depending on the lines. You could then use the next day to hit the water park in morning and do more rides in the afternoon.
