IUI Monitoring Everyday?
I'm at Day 8 of IUI and just came back from my 3rd Bloodwork and Ultrasound.
The nurse called and told me I have to go back again tomorrow for the 4th monitoring. There's a chance I have to go back everyday until IUI. Ugh!
WTH? Has anyone had to do this? I really don't want to spend my holiday weekend waking up every morning at 6am for 7am monitoring! :P

Yes...it depends on how quickly your follies are developing and they have to time you as exactly as they can

this. They do this when you are on injectables. Need to make sure you dont hyperstimulate

IUI Monitoring Everyday?
Yes, as you get close to O, you need to go in every day. They want to make sure your follicles are big enough to be mature, but not miss your LH surge/ovulation.

Yeppers. I had to go every day for a few days this cycle. Fun times

Yup. I'm on injects. Went in CD 3, 6, 9, 12, 13, and then IUI on CD14. I feel like I lived there this week. On injects is definitely way more monitoring.

I've done it, but never minded. It would be worse to get "a day off" and then miss your window!
And the lack of sleep never really bothered me because getting pg was so important to me.

I have been going to morning monitoring everyday since last Friday. In the long run, the no sleep will be worth it

Thanks ladies, I guess it'll all be worth it once the BFP happens.
Today was my 4th visit and thankfully I was told to take the trigger shot tonight and come in tomorrow. Seems abit rush to go in for IUI after less than 24 hours?

If you are starting to surge on your own they will do IUI in less than 24 hours post trigger. Good luck!

it usually is all last min- depends on your surge, blood levels and size of folicules
Good luck, i am hoping for this weekend

While it's a pain in the rear, more monitoring is better practice. They don't just assume it will be the same each month, either.  it's all worth it in the end
