VENT!!!
So had my beta tested today, and at week 8 of a MC my beta is still 7.5
It went down a little bit from monday which was 10
This is happening in slow motion, and i know everyones body is different but seriosuly GO DOWN already
I feel like everyone is moving on, and making babies etc and i am at a stand still, i am not getting any younger here
What even stinks more is, there has been so many preg announcements or TTC announcements from our friends and family
GRRRR
ok i had to get it out!!

Just want to send you  I was in that standstill with the cyst on my ovary and they wouldn't let me stim. It was so frustrating. Hang in there!!!!

I"m sorry This is exactly what happened to me toward the end. It was dropping .. dropping ... then it went from 15... to 14... then 14 again .. 12... 10... 9.... 7... It was HORRRRIBLEEEEE .. My doctor said often when it gets lower it drops slower. I had a natural m/c but from the time we first lost the baby till a 0 beta it was about 4 1/2 months. I thought I was going to lose my mind because half that time was just waiting for it to come down from 15.
eta: I totally hear ya on all the pregnancy announcements too .. I had so many friends announce they were pregnant in that time and I felt like it was such a tease because my body was just NOT getting the memo. It was VERY hard to show my friends I was happy for them when I was so sad for myself. If I was waiting to start a cycle and not just looking for a surrogate I would have completely lost my mind. The only thing that kept me sane was knowing I wasn't going to be cycling myself anyway.

Thank you for explaining, if you don't mind me asking how long did it take for AF to show after your beta dropped? I read it can be another few weeks. I am seriously ready to blow my mind, trying to keep busy but baby things are all over ....

My heart seriously goes out to you because waiting for that beta to drop was like watching paint dry and like you said, everyone's lives were moving on but yours depends on some level dropping so u can just move on. UGH!
I don't remember how long it took to get AF but I wanna say a couple of weeks. I do remember speaking to my re at one point because my level dropped to 1 or 2 or something and figured I'd get it any day but I didn't. A couple of weeks sounds about right though.

On top of all this emotional crap
We found out that DH's cousin is Preg and they got married a month after us
I text me mom to vent and she was like "get get over it, stop being angry at the world your day will come"
Seriosuly, this is why i dont vent to them..
Then to find out after the summer my YOUNGER sisiter is trying to work on baby #2
SHESHHHHH, let me have baby 1 first LOL

What your mom said is so insensitive!!  That would really bother me because it's almost like invalidating your feelings.
We had a similar situation -sort of. My dh's cousin got married when I Was 16wks pregnant with our first baby. I lost the baby a week later and exactly a year after her wedding, she gave birth to her daughter and I was still going through IVF and having losses. It was awful.

I am def having an emotional weekend, DH sen me for a reflexology foot massage- was very relaxing
Now just hope he hit the right pressure points:)
