Strange feeling

Not having any appts this month. We were away during AF so I had to take this month off from medical intervention. Gonna try the old fashioned way It just feels strange to not have to wake up an hour earlier to go for blood and sono. Part of me loves it but the other part feels like I am not doing anything as if this can only happen with medical intervention. I don't even know if I have a follie or if it is on my good side or bad side. I think that's the most unnerving part. Not knowing. I guess since I have been going to appts consistently for the past 7 months it feels weird not to go. Sorry. Just rambling tonight

Same here!! I keep thinking about the mystery follicle and if it's gone by now.. Part if me thinks I should have at least consulted with her again to go on BCPs to dissolve it but the other part doesn't want to bother with them. It was strange for me at first but I got used to it again. Taking a little break is very good for you. Emotionally you can recharge and physically you can regroup. You never know, it may be exactly what you need! what cycle day are you on?

i feel the same way, i havent been to the RE since April 30 and that wasnt for any good reason at all


Good Luck, maybe no stress, sleeping in etc will help you this cycle :)

I felt the same way the first month I had to take off, then the next month was very refreshing!! I feel much better and was able to take the time off to regroup mentally.

Can't wait til all 4 of us finally get to point where we get to post about our BFPs and don't have to see an RE anymore :) I hope its coming soon for all of us!!!!!!!!!!

Ohh I know that feeling all too well. We did surrogacy for about 9 months and in that time had two cycles with our surrogate which did not work out. It felt so weird to be "trying" but not the one going to appointments.. injecting .. etc.. I felt so disconnected to the process. I know that situation is completely different from what you are describing - but yes I can totally relate to that feeling of feeling like you are doing nothing when you aren't going to appts.. etc.. For me anyway, it made me feel less in control.

There have been plenty of people who get BFP on break months. So fingers crossed for you. This is my 4th month in a row cycling and I'm shot. If it doesn't work this month I so need a break month. Good luck!
