Speculum
Is it just me or am I a total wimp? Had IUI #2 done today and I flinch each time! I feel like such a jerk

It used to bother me a lot more, but with the constant poking and prodding, I barely notice it now.

The speculum for the saline sono was the worse one!!! LoL after a few monitoring visits I got used to the internal sonos

Gina., I still have memories of Cynthia saying her usual "Ok, so undress from the waist down and Jeff will be in soon"
She said it every.single.time. At one point I was like ... Cynthia if there's ever a time I do NOT have to take my pants off, let me know!
After that she just started telling me, "You know the drill"

Me and the speculum do NOT get along. For me it's the worse part of any procedure.

I totally agree- when I went for my IUI, they went through 3 different sized speculums before finding one that fit bc I have such a long torso and my cervix is set back farther. It's the WORST part of the procedure for me!

Hmm this makes sense. I did hear her say "your cervix is way back there" and I am tall.

my cervix is also very far back... every time i got a check during labor they were like sorry its far back... YEAH I KNOW!!! lol
