How many ounces?
Should a newborn be taking? I am bfing and started to supplement a formula bottle at night. How much should she be taking? (She is only 9 days old)

I would say 3oz and if she is taking take well you can increase it to 4oz but I would start with 3oz of formula.
ETA thats what we started with. Don't be worried if she doesn't take the full bottle though.

When ava was born they told me 2 to 2 1/2 ounces per feeding!

Alex was born almost 10lbs and 2oz was not enough for him. He was drinking 4oz every 3hrs.
