Second language?
Does anyone send their child to learn a second language? Im looking into finding a place that teaches younger kids. Dd will be 4. I would like for her to know basic Spanish. Thank you

Crashing, sorry. I'm pregnant now but my DH's family speaks Spanish (not like all the time, he is a native English speaker but his parents are originally from South America). I can barely list my colors, but I have asked MIL and FIL, and even DH to an extent, to talk to the baby in Spanish when he/she is born. I think knowing another language is sooo useful and just a good skill to have.
ETA: Didn't read your post thoroughly enough, sorry. Maybe a bilingual daycare? Or look for a private tutor?
