Rashguards
Dd is 6 months. This is her first summer. What type is bathing suit do I need to buy her? What is the purpose of rash guards? Do I need one?do I need something with a built in swim diaper? I'm so clueless. Help!

DD is the same age, so I have no prior experience but I definitely want to get her rashguard tops for extra sun protection. I don't think a built in swim diaper is necessary. I think you can put a regular bottom over one.

Depends on where you go.
The bathing suit with the built in swim diaper is great for pools that you typically need 2 layers of protection for. Check if you have a community pool.
Rash guards are great to avoid burns. I have one on both kids at all times (with long sleeves).

Last summer we had the twins in a rash guard shirt and a re-usable swim diaper. The shirt is great because you need less sunscreen.
