Bottle ques..
My DD drinks so fast that half her milk ends up on her clothes. The milk that she is swallowing sounds like she's choking on it. She drinks like she hasn't eaten in days!
I always sit her up when feeding & burp her constantly.
I am currently using the Dr. Brown bottles.
Could it be the bottles? I thought these were supposed to be the best bottles?

Bottle ques..
DS did this for a while. I thought it was the bottle, but it only happened when he got himself so worked up. We try to feed him as soon as he acts hungry and so far, it's helped. I use playtex drop in bottles, but we tried vent aire and similac too.

Bottle ques..
Just cause a bottle is considered the best doesnt mean its the best for your baby. My dd hated dr browns. She uses playtex nursers (also considered one of the best) and has never looked back.
What size nipple flow are you using? Make sure its slow

Bottle ques..
What size nipple? I tried a bunch of bottles before finding the right one....we never tried dr browns, but nuk, Avnet,mommy tipple, playtex and for us mam bottle works the best. At 4 months just went to level 2 nipple from level 1

I am using level 1 nipples but the flow still seems to be so fast.
I will try the playtex and see how she does

Dr. Browns are good for gas, but its probably not the bottle just the nipple. Try the playtex slow nipples. They interchange with dr browns and I found them to be slower. I think Dr browns makes something less than the level 1 also. Or the rubber ones fromt he RTF. They are harder rubber and harder to get milk out of.

You should try the Dr Browns preemie nipple. I had to use that with DD for the first month.

Is she just gulping? DS gulps when he's really hungry and sometimes it drools out of his mouth a bit, but it's gotten better as he's gotten "older" (I'm talking 2 weeks to 5 weeks lol).

yes shes gulping and then she chokes on it and starts coughing.
