18 weeks with twins and really achy/sore in abdomen/hips...
Is this normal? I've been really achy- almost to the point of pain but not quite there- all morning. I had water and laid down and that didn't seem to help. Had a banana which didn't help either... I'm hoping its just growing pains. Eating breakfast didn't help either lol I swear I feel anything "off" and my mind wanders to a very ugly place I have a drs appt today but figured someone on here's been through this, right? Ive had round ligament pain but this feels different than that... Tia!

Actually, I felt the same thing at 18 weeks and I'm pregnant with twins, too. I was also having BH contractions that made me feel extremely tight pretty much all day at that point. It lasted for about a week or so, but still comes and goes now at 21 weeks. My OB didn't seem concerned at all... He just said to stay hydrated and to reevaluate my daily activity when I feel that way. I hope you feel better soon!

Yes, I definitely had this when I was pregnant with my twins.

I had all sorts of pains. So many that I dont really remember them now. Your hips do widen. All of your joints loosen with every pregnancy, not just twins. We might just feel it sooner because we have more weight in babies to carry earlier on.
