What Program/Schoolsl for 2 year olds?

DD is only 14 months right now, but I am just thinking ahead....

What kind of program or school did you place your 2 year old in? Mommy and Me classes? Full Separation? Partial Separation? Pre school? How many days a week etc?

I am a sahm, so I am not sure if this affects my opinion or not. But with ds1 I didn't do any nursery environment until 3. I just felt 2 was too young and unnecessary.

Ds2 will be 2 in April. I will most likely not enroll him until 3 as well but a few friends are putting their 2yos in 2 days a week 2.5hr per day and i am slightly considering it.

Ds started a 2 day per week 2 hour per day program in September a month before he turned 2. I was pg (and now have) DD#2 and wanted him to start something before I had her. The first month was hard but now he loves "school"

DS will be 3 in November. In September he'll start a preschool that's 2 days a week for 2.5 hours. So he won't quite be 3 when he starts. I think he'll have fun- and I'm gonna love the little break
Right now, he's 2 and I take him to the library storytime, and to the Little Gym mommy and me class once a week. He loves them both!

My boys are in a 2yo program 3 mornings a week from 945am - 12pm. It's a full separation and they LOVE it and adjusted right away. They can't wait to go to school and are learning so much! Best thing we ever did!

DS went to nursery school at 25 months. It was twice a week, 2hr each day.. He loves it. At 3 he will go 3 times a day

My son turned 2 in late October. In September we started Just Wee Two which is a great program--in fact I'm pretty sure they have programs for kids as young as 14 mos and they have several locations. Ours is 90 minutes and the first trimester was strictly mommy & me. In January it turned into a partial separation. The moms are there for the first 45 mins and then we hang out outside the room for the last 45.

In addition, after he actually turned 2, he started a full separation at a local preschool 2x/week for two hours each. He's really doing well!

At 2 my dds were in mommy and me class and Gymboree at 32 months they started a one hour separation class with the mommy and me teacher it's just an hour once a week and I am going to do the separation Gymboree class when they turn 3

They will go to nursery school in September age 3. I didn't want them going to school so young they have a lot of schooling ahead of them. I wanted to give them one more year!

i started my son when he was just over 2 years old. It was a separation class, loved it! first half of the year was with me, and the second half he was on his own.
