Q if you use Target Diapers
Hi all, I recently picked up a small package of Target diapers for my DS just to try it out (since its a lot cheaper!), and since many people on here have seemed to like them. I am very surprised that they have been holding up well. However, I was wondering, how do they hold up during the night? I've been putting target diapers on my DS during the day but at night I would put a pampers cruisers (what i have been using previously) on him just in case, since I know they hold a lot. TIA!

WHen we use target diapers we do not use them at night, but not for leaking. We have found that luvs diapers really pulls the moisture away from their skin and target does not. So at night to prevent rashes we use luvs. We have never had a problem. Just being preventative.

We use them at night - For DS 2, I put on a larger size but, I find they work as well as the nighttime diapers.

ok thanks, i am doing the same. I got size 4 for DS even though he is around 19 lbs. I guess I'll have to try and see.

I used them at night, I too bought a small package (size 3) and they were pretty good, no leaks for us.

I use Huggies Overnight diapers at night and Target during the day. Not because Target doesn't hold up well at night, but because I started using them before I started using Target diapers.

Q if you use Target Diapers
I use target diapers and a diaper doubler from BRU and ds does fine and he drinks a LOT.

I think Luvs are better--and cheaper--than Target brand. So if it's a price thing, I'd try Luvs.

DS 2 is a little over 20 lbs and I have him in size 3 during the day at size 4 at night so the size 4 will probably work for your DS at night - the size 5 may be too big.

Yes, they have the same baby powder smell as Pampers (both made by P&G)

Ok thanks! I alway used Target and thought they were awesome. If Luvs are cheaper and unscented i would try them for baby #2. Since they are scented I cant use them. We have REALLY sensitive skin over here...

I've been pretty happy with the Target brand. I'm all for inexpensive diapers, but the LUVs brand (for me) was the worst! They always leaked (even during the day) and twice they "exploded" on me - these white gelfoam crystal like particles came out of them. Never bought them since....

Thanks, yeah I just found out DS actually weighs 17.2 today (less than I thought!) so I think he'd be swimming in the 5's.
Thanks all! going to see how he does w/ them overnight this weekend (this way I am off if there is an an accident!)
