Gagging when teeth brushing
I can't help it. I have tried different favors, gel vs paste. Any tricks? I never had this with any of my other pregnancies. I almost don't want to brush.

I found I did better with the electric toothbrush.... Still happened but not as much!

Gagging when teeth brushing
I noticed that a couple of days ago, but instead of using a big glob of it I do it in pea size amounts an when I need more I use another pea size amount. I also use the Crest 3D white toothpaste (which is naturally thick anyway).

Had this w/ my first pregnancy. Hate hate hated it. The one time that I actually vomited during that pregnancy was when I couldn't hold it back when brushing my teeth. Nothing much really helped. I'm starting to feel it now; all that really helps is not brushing the back of my mouth too well (I get the teeth, but can't brush the back of my tongue and roof of my mouth as I normally would). I just ensure that I use Act each night, and may start Listerine during the day. Hoping it doesn't get as back as it did last time, cause it friggin sucks!

it is terrible -- happens to me too. i try to use a pea sized amount. i find that original colgate is the least offensive!

That's how I know I'm pregnant! LOL. Sorry, no advice. But I do find that once I pop the kid out, it goes away.
