Dental work outcome
Kind of pregnancy related but I wanted to see if any of you had this experience. I am pregnant and think I need a good amount of dental work done. I have a filling exposed because the wall of my tooth cracked and am starting to feel sensitivity in that area. I'm concerned of the mercury from the filling being exposed and affecting the fetus. However I'm also concerned of getting work done during pregnancy. I've read of a possible correlation between mercury and autism. Did any of you get work done and everything turned out fine in the end? I'm 21 weeks so I have a ways to go.

Re: Dental work outcome
I had work done, my crown was chipping on one tooth and it was very sensitive , had it replaced, but my dentist had me wait until after 7 months, this was few yrs ago so don't remember why.

I had 2 fillings and a root canal done when I was pregnant with my ds. You can have xrays just make sure they double vest you and you can have carbocaine. It's a numbing agent without epinephrine.
