Bad c section scar?

I am 8 months pp and never thought my scar was great, but after comparing it to a few other mamas I am afraid that it looks awful. I even showed it to a doctor friend and her exact words were "yeah, you didn't get lucky there" I dot understand why it is so bad - I have had other surgeries and never had a keloid! Btdt mamas - is it as bad as I think or will it still go down? Pics in album! Thanks.

I found that the redness in my scar didn't really start to fade until well over a year PP. My DS is almost 2.5 now, and it is very light but definitely "bumpier" and more raised than I thought it would be. I've never seen any of my friends scars, so I don't have much to compare to, but mine doesn't look that different from yours. If it's considered bad, then I'm right there with you!

I don't know; my scar was not noticeable after a few weeks PP but I am darker skin. Have you gone back to your OB to show them how it's healing.
