Mirena Issues?
I had Mirena put in about a month after I stopped bf-ing, 4 days later I got really sick and ended up in the hospital, it turns out the iud was not in place and was making me sick, they were able to locate it and remove it. My obgyn says that she has never had that happen before and thinks that the dr. that put it in may not have done it correctly, so they ordered me a new one. I am supposed to have it put in tomorrow but I am panicking, because I am worried that it was my body rejecting it.... Has anyone else has this issue? Would you do it again?

I never had that put in, but IMO if it made me sick the first time, I wouldn't put it back in a second time

Mine slipped and was resting low. It was uncomfortable so i had the doc take it out. I'm on the pill now.

Mine has been fine. The string is no longer visible, but I've had sonograms that show it is in the right place. No discomfort at all.

I had a similar issue and wound up having it taken out and i won't have it put back in because I had too many issues for the short time it was in.
