Rescheduling lessons with safety swim

How difficult is it to reschedule lessons with them. I cancelled a time frame for the end of Feb and want to secure it with the week after with the same two instructors and I am getting a run around. The day I cancelled is the last day of the package. They were quick to want to take my money for the next session package I need to order to continue the lessons with the instructors but for a makeup lesson they are saying the instructors "are not available at that time". I feel like they are jerking us for the makeup though they were very easy to cancel. I'm beyond p!ssed. the instructors said they are available for my time slot In the next few months...really? Tell me your experiences please!

Re: Rescheduling lessons with safety swim

If I don't book for the next session a couple of months in advance, the time frame that my kids are in with certain instructors are always booked. They don't hold your time for you if someone else comes first and books that time. The schedule of the instructor may change as well.

I've had to change days/times at least 5 times already to get the instructor I've wanted.

For makeup lessons, you usually have to call up the day you want to bring them in and see if they have any cancellations. Rarely do I get the instructor I want for a makeup unless the instructor tells me that they are having a makeup day.

We are going to Westbury. We leave two kids attending. Dd is 4yrs and ds is 2yrs. We have Brandon and Jordan. We love Jordan but are still contemplating Brandon though overall he is still good. I feel that Jordan challenges our son more. It's only 3 lessons in so I won't make a fair judgement on him yet.

My sons use to take lessons in Bellmore and I found it nearly impossible to get a make up with the same instructor. then when I would try another one - I almost always had an awful instructor. I wound up losing my lessons because I found taking the make up with someone I didn't know was worse! THat being said I just resigned up my younger son and my daughter to start lessons there - lol. Finally the son's best instructor has an late day slot available. I am keeping fingers crossed my daughter gets someone good.

Re: Rescheduling lessons with safety swim

I have 3 makeups that I've been trying to schedule for months now! It is almost impossible, quite frustrating!!!! The best way to get the make-up is if you call the day of.

we are starting lessons next weekend , at Bellmore location . who is the instructor you have used? Who would you recommnd?

Also how do I know if an instructor is "good" or not ? Don't know much about swimming, since I can't swim and afraid of water .

Re: Rescheduling lessons with safety swim

My experience with safety swim is that makeups are rarely with the instructor you want.
