RS of NY ladies, please come in!!
If you start off consulting with one Dr, would they allow my second consult to be with a diff Dr? My current dr is booking me a month out bc she's busy, which can mess up two cycles and I really don't want to miss out on a chance to get preg sooner. What would you do? I hear all the drs are great so I wouldn't mind- as long as I get answers!

My "primary Dr." there (if thats what they are called when that's your go to guy) is Dr. Stelling. I have met with Dr. Halfen, Dr. San Roman (when he was there) and Dr Travix. You do not have to see the same dr. each time. They all work together on what is best for you.

They didn't give me the option to see anyone else, so that's why I wasn't sure. I am calling them now to see what they say. I'm obv out this cycle but I want a good plan for my next one! If I get the run around, I may switch. I wish I was closer to WI bc the reviews are so much better :/

I don't see why not, I would call and ask to schedule a second opinion consultation with the next available RE and see what they say. I know when I went in for my original consult, I met with Dr. Stelling. After a scrapped cycle and a few months off I called to get a prescription for provera, and they told me I had to come in for blood test and another consultation so I made it with the next available RE (who happened to be Dr. Stelling again since Dr San Roman left the practice)

I did! I had the same issue, we wanted to get moving on our next cycle and said to just give us the first available consult appt. I guess that was with Dr. Cain? I know we had consults initially Dr. San Roman, but mostly saw Cain after that.

I would call and see if there is another doctor available sooner. Dr. Trivax is my primary and I prefer to deal with only him. He is usually their on Thursdays so when I had my failed cycle that ended Dec 1st I had to wait until the 20th to see him. Another option you have is to call in the AM and leave a message on the nurse VM for them to call you back but don't state your situation until they call you back once they call you back ask them if they can overbook you. I did that for my 2nd Beta this past Monday my original appt was at 9:30 but had to be at work at 7 so they told me to come at 6:30

Thanks ladies.. I am going to call them in the am and see what they can do. DH wants me to avoid them tonight as I have a habit of going off on people when I am upset..lol

I saw 4 different drs when I was there. Just make sure they document everything. Mine got a little confusing bc I would go to both stonybrook and Brooklyn and the 2 offices weren't really good with talking to eachother so I made sure all the drs were on the same page with my treatment.
