Boob problems!
Ok so I had a clogged milk duct yesterday & a milk blister. After an hour or so in a hot as b@lls shower & popping of said milk blister, I think it's almost better. The blister (or what is left of it) still hurts tho, ESP when DD eats. Should I call my OB? Or just wait it out? TIA!

Wait it out it will get better, if you can tolerate nursing do it and you can still warm compress it too. It will heal. I had one and it was painful but it goes away pretty quickly, the best thing is to nurse. Good luck

warm compress and massage the clogged duct towards your nipple. After feedings take a shot glass and put warm water and salt in and put it on your nipples to clean it. It may hurt a little. this is what my lactation consultant told me. If you're worried about infection call your dr and see if they recommend continuing to breastfeed on that boob.

Bactroban is an RX that my LC had my OB call in for me (wow that was a lot of acronyms!!) It works wonders on all skin issues (except thrush.)
Salt water soaks will help it heal faster also. feel better

Re: Boob problems!
I got blisters 2 times. Both times I pumped that side instead of letting him nursed. That def. helped, as well as warm compresses on i. They usually went away in two days.
