Anyone do the Mommy & Me, Nursery, or Univ Pre-K at St. Kevin's in Flushing Queens?!?

We are moving in March to Queens.

My DS turned 4 in January (born 2009)- so I don't *think he is old enough for UPK yet.

But while my 5 yr old DD is in Kindergarten, I was wondering if there is something to do with my 4 yr old.

There is not a lot of info on their website.

Is there a Nursery prog? How much $$??

I see there is a Mommy & Me program? any good?? what is the schedule?? How much??

I am prob going to call this week..but I figured I would ask some BTDT moms first!

I don't know anything about their mommy and me programs, but I just had to say that I grew up in Flushing, and went to St. Kevin's from K-8th grade. Best years...loved that school, still do. I have a very good friend from SKS who's mom still works in the school as a 3rd grade teacher. I can call her tomorrow and ask her for you!

My friend's sister is a teacher at st kevin's & I wanted to place ds there for nursery but it's a little far from me. I live in doulaston & it would have been too much especially with the baby bc he doesn't like car rides. I would have had to kill time around there during his school hours since it wouldn't have been worth it to come home for the part time hours he had class. I hear only good things about them.

wanted to add that you probably missed their open house for catholic schools week but they are always willing to give you a private tour if you give them a call.

As for the days... they offer a full week or a 2 or 3 day program. Its starts at 8:20AM and they get out at 10:50AM, they do not offer an afternoon program and they only have 1 session a day.

I live down the street from there and I've only heard great things about the school. I think they already had their open house, but you can call and get a private tour.
