Mommies of 2: How did you tell your husband and family you were prego with baby #2?

Looking for some cute ways to let me husband and family know about baby #2 (we are trying..but I have a good feeling about this month!). When we got pregnant with my DS, I was so excited I just blurted it out at him the second he got home the morning I found out! I want to do some thing cute this time around...I read about having him wear a Big Brother shirt...any other ideas?

For our families for DS, I bought bibs for the uncles that said I love my uncle, and made onesies for the grandparents that said I heart my grandparents. Any other ideas to announce #2?

How about getting a big brother shirt for DS? We did that to tell the grandparents about #2. They sell them at BRU.

It can be funny waiting for the person to read the shirt. My MIL took about 10 min to see what it said.

I went the shirt route lol We were leaving on a cruise with both sets of grandparents the next day, so my ILs were staying at our house (they live OOS). Since my b-day would be when we were away we did an early b-day dinner at our house for me & my twin brother the night before we all left (he wasn't coming with us). We started ds out in a regular shirt & after we ate I pretended that it was dirty & needed to be changed. I then sent him back into the dining room on his own & waited - it took a few minutes & it was hysterical! My FIL noticed first & looked soooo confused - he was silent, but kept looking from ds to me & back to ds again is disbelief before he finally yelled out an excited "REALLY?!?" Everyone else was like "Huh?"

We went with the big brother shirt as well for family. I bought the shirt on Cafepress.com.



For our first, we got custom made fortune cookies to tell our family and some friends.

With the twins, we had our dog, wear a shirt that said "I'm going to be a big brother" and run around at sunday family dinner.

For baby #3 (which was 9 months later) it went something like this

Me to DH : um, i have something to tell you and i think you should sit down....

I saw the idea on Pinterest and loved it! It only took a few minutes to take the picture and upload into a template on Photoshop.
