Endometrial biopsy

OK, so this is my next (and last!) test (at least for now). So give me the good, bad and ugly on this one.

I'm absolutely horrible with medical procedures. I was in tears before my water sono yesterday. I'll be shocked if I don't wimp out and cancel this appt beforehand.

I am the same way!! I was so anxious and so worried; I brought my husband with me for the HSG and the endo bx, and he came in the room during the procedure bc I was afraid I was going to get up and run lol.

It was really nothing. Speculum was the worst! I agree with you, that's the worst part of every test/procedure!! This was the quickest test for me. Different Dr offices do it differently, I had mine at RSoNY with Dr Lydic. Speculum, clean cervix, insert catheter/biopsy currette inserted and while he is taking the sample there is a little bit of cramping/pinching but it was less than 2 minutes. The whole thing was less than 5 minutes. I didn't have any cramping or pain after it was over.
