Any idea as to what this was? Stomach virus? Food poisoning?
Yesterday my DD woke up happy as a clam. We went out, ran some errands, came home for lunch and she went down for her nap. She woke up burning up, over 102 fever. I gave her Motrin and she laid on the couch. About 45min later she complained her belly hurt. All of a sudden she puked EVERYWHERE. She threw up that one time and that was it. Her fever never even returned and she slept great all night and woke up to eat and drink as usual. What would cause someone to be so sick like that for only 2hrs? I'm not complaining I like that it was SO brief but Wth?
She's not much of an eater so before she got sick she only had some cereal and 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich

DD also had something very similar about 2 mos ago. She awoke from her nap and had puked all over the crib and wall. She was warm too but I didn't take temp. She threw up 1x more and was fine after. She ate dinner and slept normally that night and was fine. I assume it was a quick bug

Did she get the immunization to rotavirus? (oral). Sounds like a rotavirus in someone with immunization.
Eta not due to vaccine... I mean the body revving up and fighting the virus in someone who has immunity due to vaccination.
