BRU Return Policy?
I had a friend give us a Halo Sleepsack for DS as a gift. The size she got is too small, but she did not provide a gift receipt. I asked her where she got it and she said BRU. I know BBB takes things without receipts (I originally tried returning it there but they said it wasn't their item), but will BRU give me a hard time? Anyone know their return policy?

BRU Return Policy?
Yes - they will give you a hard time unfortunately. Their return policy is within 90 days with receipt.
Is it something they sell at BBB? If so - you should be able to return it there.

I've returned plenty of items without a receipt to BRU without a problem. They give you 20% less than the regular price but I buy things with coupons anyway so I don't see a big deal. I'm not sure about just doing an even exchange for a bigger size but I can't see that being an issue either.
BTW, I try my best to only shop in their Bohemia store bc I find them so much more helpful and organized than any of the others.

This. I have never had a problem with the Bohemia location.
You shouldn't have a problem unless you have returned more then $$XX.XX this way. after that, you can no longer return anything without a receipt. I tried to return a swing that we ended up not using. THey had already cancelled my registry. I had a receipt, that didnt matter because it was way after the 90 days and the swing would have put me over the amount of money you can return per year there.

I tried this first since I know their return policy is great, they wouldn't take it since they don't sell it. (I guess it was a certain type of halo sleepsack, i have no clue!)
I guess I will try my best to see what happens.
I hate when people don't give gift receipts!

Do you have a BRU registry? If so, put the item on the registry and update it to purchased. As long as your registry is not over 90 days you should be okay and get store credit.

I have done this also. They can look it up on there R us card. Just bring home phone with you if you have it.
