Napping
DS is almost 6 months old. Great slepper 10-12 hours at night in crib, goes down awake & falls asleep on own. Great napper too sleeps every 2 hours & doesnt need to be held, rocked, etc. My problem (or maybe its not really a problem) is he only naps in "infant to toddler rocker" @ my house & parents & @ daycare he sleeps in his carseat or swing (not swinging). He naps with a soft blanket that he loves. he will fall asleep anywhere @ someones house, at store, etc. Should i attempt to put him to sleep in crib soon for naps. But then he obvc cant use his blanket. My reason for thinking about this is he evenetually will be too big to sleep in these things. But then the other side of it is what if i get him used to only napping in crib & then needs his crib to fall asleep.
I know its a little situation but i coyld use any advice or suggestions. Thanks

Napping
I would think it's worth a try. I would try to do some naps in the crib and keep some in the rocker or wherever you want. DD pretty much only naps in the crib or in the car and I wish she were more flexible. I regret not using the pnp more when she was younger to get her used to it bc now if I'm out and she needs a nap, I usually end up having to leave. When I first had DD nap in the crib, I always let her do her first morning nap in the swing to start the day out right. I never wanted to start out the day with a fight bc that can effect the rest of her day.
